The transition is publicly explained
Bodog and Ozoon publish the media pivot and account migration.
CASE CCC–058BRAND TRANSITION + DOMAIN COLLISION AUDIT · 03 SEP 2026
The historic Bodog gambling brand is real, but the current search result is easy to misread. Bodog.com now says it is a media site, while the former gambling product told players that accounts and balances moved to Ozoon. Our evidence does not prove a fabricated scam; it does show that the exact domain, contract and licence must be checked before any deposit.
Executive findings
Bodog and Ozoon publish the media pivot and account migration.
Balances, bets, history and KYC were said to transfer to Ozoon.
A Manitoba court found the offshore product lacked lawful authority there.
We did not access an account or independently time a payout.
OPEN SOURCEThe exact .com domain now presents editorial content and explicitly says it is not a casino or sportsbook. That statement changes the answer to every current Bodog deposit question.
Identity reconstruction
No bets, deposits or withdrawals.
Old accounts directed to Ozoon; DNS failed in our check.
Sportsbook, casino and poker under a new contract.
The brand begins its online-gambling history.
Local authority and advertising claims are challenged.
Accounts, balances and active bets are said to move.
The .com domain exits gambling operations.

WHY
The historical gambling chain names Il Nido entities, while Ozoon now publishes Rocketship Ventures S.R.L. and a regional Caravan Media B.V. route. The change is disclosed, but the player must identify the exact contract that applies.
Ozoon publishes Tobique licence 0000067 and a Curaçao route for a defined regional segment. Historical Bodog access was not locally authorised everywhere it operated, as Manitoba documented.
Ozoon publishes identity checks and a withdrawal target, but enhanced review has no independently verified maximum. Historical Bodog complaint files repeatedly involve checks after a withdrawal request.
The successor publicly lists BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC and BCH alongside Canadian payment methods. Exact networks, live account limits and fees remain cashier-specific.
Resolved historical cases exist, but verification, disabled accounts and post-transition balance or bet disputes recur. Offshore redress remains weaker than a locally regulated route.
Bodog.com is established and explicit about its new media role. Bodog.eu now fails DNS in our current check, making old links and lookalike domains a material collision risk.
The successor visibly offers sportsbook, casino and poker, and publishes a broad catalogue. We did not independently audit game code, settlement feeds or the complete certificate set.
KYC, bonus forfeiture and account-action powers are disclosed, but current sports and casino bonuses carry demanding rollover and broad enforcement consequences.
Ozoon publishes deposit, loss, session and self-exclusion tools. Public reports questioning how controls operated during the transition remain allegations, not verified system tests.
The transition notice preserved account credentials, balances, history and support routes. Continuity is claimed by the operator; individual migration disputes show it was not frictionless for everyone.
Why D? The media pivot, migration, successor product, payment claims, bonus rules, court record and complaint themes are documented. Beneficial ownership, exact account-specific contract, funded payout speed and individual migration integrity remain untested.

Search questions
The evidence does not support calling the historic Bodog brand a fabricated scam. The crucial 2026 fact is that Bodog.com no longer operates a casino or sportsbook. The former gambling product announced a migration to Ozoon, so any current deposit decision must be evaluated against the exact Ozoon domain, operator, licence and terms—not the Bodog name alone.
No, not at bodog.com. Its current About page says the domain is an editorial and media platform and does not accept bets. A former Bodog gambling site told customers that accounts, balances and active bets had moved to Ozoon.eu.
The published transition page says the Bodog brand owner discontinued use of the name by online gambling operators. The operating product then relaunched as Ozoon while claiming to preserve logins, balances, betting history and services.
The transition notice said existing credentials were carried to Ozoon. Because bodog.eu did not resolve during our current check, use only the exact destination published in the transition record and verify the domain independently before entering credentials.
Bodog.com says the marks are owned by The Ayre Group and used under licence. Historical litigation and domain proceedings connect the gambling brand to Bodog Holdings and Il Nido entities. The present gambling successor publishes different operating companies, so “Bodog owner” is not a complete answer to the current casino contract.
Historical licensing and local legality varied by product and jurisdiction. The successor Ozoon currently publishes a Tobique Gaming Commission licence and a separate Curaçao-licensed regional route. These claims should be checked against the exact entity and domain visible when registering.
Not uniformly. A Manitoba court held that the offshore gambling site had no lawful authority to offer and advertise online gambling in Manitoba. Ontario’s regulator also publicly pressed media platforms over unregulated sites including Bodog. Provincial rules—not site accessibility—determine local authorisation.
The former operation and current successor both reserve identity-verification powers. Ozoon’s KYC policy permits government ID and third-party verification, while the migration notice said previously verified Bodog users would not need to repeat verification solely because of the rebrand. Additional risk-based checks can still occur.
Current Bodog.com processes no withdrawals because it is not a gambling operator. Ozoon says most withdrawals are completed within 24 hours after deposits clear, and promotes faster crypto outcomes. Those are operator targets, not our funded measurements, and enhanced review can extend elapsed time.
The current Ozoon casino page lists Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. Asset availability does not establish every network, token contract or cashier limit. Record the precise asset and network shown inside your account before sending funds.
Historical public files cluster around verification after cashout requests, disabled accounts, withdrawal delay and bonus conditions. After the Ozoon migration, public allegations also mention balance or bet treatment, account restriction and changed bonus rollover. These are self-selected reports, not a population-wide failure rate.
The official transition statement says balances, active bets, history and rewards were carried over. Some public users allege migration-related disputes. We could not independently inspect individual accounts, so the operator promise and the allegations remain separately labelled.
The current bodog.com is an editorial site, not a place to deposit or wager. If a page using the Bodog name asks for gambling funds or credentials, confirm the exact host. The current Bodog site itself warns that gambling services using its name are not affiliated with it.
Confirm the exact domain, contracting company, licence route for your province or country, KYC status, bonus state, asset, network, withdrawal minimum and review process. Save the migration notice, account balance, active bets and support correspondence before any high-value transaction.
